Why?

There's a certain sense of hubris associated with having a blog. Why should you bother to read my thoughts?

At the same juncture, the art, the truth, of blogging is that it is - first and foremost - for the blogger not the (bloggee?) reader. And so, we've come to this. The first post of my new blog. I hope to reflect on what I'm reading, what I'm thinking, and what I'm doing.

I am Catholic. I am a dad. I am a reader. I am an educator. So expect that.
