Last year, I started this blog because of National Novel Writing Month - and the idea of building in more reflection and sharing into my practice as a principal.

Although no novel was produced nor was one intended to be, this served as a bit of refuge from the day-to-day of principaling. A refuge that evaporated as the pandemic shut down work, my routines, and severely impacted my emotional well-being as a parent and a principal.

November is back around. School isn't. Routines of a make-shift nature are being set up. My emotional well-being seems to fluctuate more than the guidelines the County changes the waiver process for re-opening.

However - I think it might be good to return to some semblance of regular blogging/reflecting.

So here we go! NaNoWriMo 2 - Pandemic Panic!
