I was asked recently to share what makes a successful school, and my answer was the same as it has been before.  Successful schools appreciate and celebrate their success, but they never stay stagnant because of it.  If learning is the goal of education, this has to be modeled at both an individual and organizational level.

Drive is what ultimately separates the most successful from those who settle. Jeff Bezos didn't want to just have a bookstore - he wanted an everything store. As a Church we don't want to make life just better here on earth - we want to make sure you gain eternal life. Our goals need to be grand and evolve beyond where we currently are.
